Fire Safety Academies

2020 Fall Academy

September 24th, October 1st, October 8th, and October 15th
(must attend all 4 session dates)

5:30 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Academy begins promptly at 5:30 p.m.

Families attend a three session fire safety academy. It is recommended that all family members attend the academy. The academy is conducted twice a year at different locations. The academy is broken up into age appropriate classes for the youths and there is different curriculum for each class. The parents are in their own group as well where they attend informational training seminars.

The academy provides many educational tools as well as presents guest speakers from various fire departments, probation, UC Davis Firefighters Burn Institute Regional Burn Center, Shriners & Mental Health.

As part of the academy, children will learn:
